Jessica Jones LIPPA Photographer and Manager of Pineapple Studios Pineapple Studios, open since summer 2006, is a new business venture for well known local press and corporate photography firm John Sheehan Photography and photographer Jessica Jones. It is ably and enthusiastically managed by Jessica, who spent the previous five years working as a portrait photographer and editor of a photography magazine in Berlin. She also lived in Canada, Austria and Croatia, before attending college in Cork, which she is happy to now call home. Jessica's approach is about fun, freshness, a sensitivity to people, and coaxing genuine smiles and expressions from old and young alike.  Jessica believes that a good portraitist has a real feeling for people, a love of the subtleties of light and colour, an appreciation of form and detail and a vivid imagination. Most important is a sense of joy about every aspect of the work, which is as much emotional as technical.  When she’s not behind the camera Jessica can often be found jumping around on a dance floor, tormenting her cat, watching a film, or ignoring the giant weeds in her garden.
